The Head of Business Support Group (HoG) serves as a strategic business partner to the President/CEO and executive leadership team and is responsible for providing executive leadership, governance, and organizational direction for General Affairs, Facility Management, Information Technology, ERP, Corporate Services, Physical Security, and Administrative Support functions.

The HoG is accountable for establishing functional strategies, operational priorities, annual business plans, performance objectives, organizational development initiatives, and budget governance processes that support the long-term growth and operational success of MNA and MTCA.

This position provides leadership through department managers and senior managers rather than direct execution of operational activities. The HoG ensures alignment between corporate objectives, headquarters requirements, regional support organizations, and local business needs while maintaining effective functional performance, regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, business continuity, and organizational capability development. 

The HoG serves as the senior functional leader responsible for ensuring that Business Support functions effectively support manufacturing operations, corporate offices, strategic growth initiatives, and overall business objectives across MNA and MTCA.

• Partner with the President/CEO and executive leadership team to develop and execute annual business plans and long-term strategic initiatives.
  
  
• Establish organizational objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and operating priorities for all Business Support Group functions.
  
  
• Provide executive-level recommendations regarding operational priorities, organizational structure, resource allocation, and investment decisions.
  
  
• Ensure alignment between President/CEO expectations, headquarters requirements, organizational capabilities, and available resources to support sustainable business growth.
  
  
• Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and performance oversight to department managers and senior managers responsible for General Affairs, Facility Management, Information Technology, ERP, and related support functions.
  
  
• Establish governance standards, accountability frameworks, operating disciplines, and performance review processes across all functional areas.
  
  
• Monitor organizational performance and validate execution results against approved business plans and objectives.
  
  
• Ensure cross-functional collaboration and consistent execution of company initiatives.
  
  
• Review and approve major operational, administrative, facility, technology, and corporate service initiatives.
  
  
• Oversee strategic vendor relationships, major service contracts, and external partnership governance.
  
  
• Own and oversee operating and capital budgets for General Affairs, Facility Management, Information Technology, ERP, and Corporate Services functions.
  
  
• Lead annual budget planning, forecasting, cost optimization, and variance analysis activities.
  
  
• Review, prioritize, and approve resource allocation and capital investment plans.
  
  
• Ensure appropriate financial controls, cost discipline, and budget accountability across all supported functions.
  
  
• Provide executive-level reporting regarding budget performance, expenditure trends, business risks, and investment recommendations.
  
  
• Review, interpret, and localize corporate directives, standards, policies, and strategic initiatives issued by Headquarters.
  
  
• Lead the development, implementation, revision, and governance of local policies, procedures, and operational standards related to Business Support functions.
  
  
• Ensure compliance with applicable company policies, legal requirements, regulatory obligations, and internal control expectations.
  
  
• Identify organizational risks and develop mitigation strategies related to administrative operations, facilities, physical security, technology systems, and support services.
  
  
• Promote consistency, transparency, and operational discipline across the organization.
  
  
• Develop and maintain an effective organizational structure capable of supporting current and future business needs.
  
  
• Lead succession planning, leadership development, workforce planning, and talent management initiatives within Business Support functions.
  
  
• Provide coaching and development opportunities for managers, senior managers, and emerging leaders.
• Establish development frameworks that promote employee growth, organizational capability, and long-term succession readiness.
  
  
• Support a culture of accountability, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  
  
• Serve as the primary leadership representative for General Affairs, Facility Management, Information Technology, ERP, and Corporate Services functions.
  
  
• Collaborate with Headquarters and regional support organizations to align business objectives, standards, initiatives, and best practices.
  
  
• Support implementation of corporate programs, system enhancements, operating standards, and organizational transformation initiatives.
  
  
• Leverage cross-functional expertise and regional resources to improve operational effectiveness and business performance.
  
  
• Provide executive leadership and organizational oversight during significant operational disruptions, emergency situations, business continuity events, and executive-level escalations.
  
  
• Ensure readiness and coordinated support for executive visits, customer visits, corporate audits, major company events, and strategic business activities.
  
  
• Lead cross-functional response efforts related to facility incidents, technology disruptions, security concerns, natural disasters, and other business-critical events.
  
  
• Support after-hours and weekend decision-making activities when required to protect business continuity and operational stability.

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Facility Management, Construction Management, Information Technology, or Related Discipline.
• Minimum fifteen (15) years of progressive professional experience.
  
• At Least seven (7) years’ experience in a managerial role in a manufacturing environment
• Significant management experience in GA/FAC and/or IT/ERP related functions.
• Demonstrated experience leading multi-functional support organizations within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing significant operating and capital budgets.
• Experience leading manager-level leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Experience supporting executive leadership and strategic organizational initiatives.
• Project management experience.

• Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field.
• Experience within an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting multi-site operations.
• Experience leading organizational transformation, operational excellence, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience managing large-scale capital projects, facility expansions, infrastructure programs, or enterprise technology implementations.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily office-based environment with periodic plant, warehouse, and project site visits.
• Domestic and international travel as required.
• Interaction with executive leadership, corporate representatives, customers, vendors, and external stakeholders.
• Position may require availability beyond normal business hours to support executive visits, critical business events, emergency response activities, and business continuity requirements.
