Overview

The Production Planning Assistant Manager is responsible the production planning and managing plant KPI and all areas of the production control (Plan & Actual, Down time, Claim).

Responsibilities

(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)

 

  • The initial point of contact for Customer (HMGMA) production schedule
  • Tracking HMGMA Plan fluctuation
  • Maintain SAP PP Module process and implementation (LTP, MRP, PIR, Backlog, Production result adjustment complete/component)
  • Follow up with the IT team for SAP system improvement from a user standpoint. (PP Module)
  • Constantly monitor HMGMA and Mobis productivity and shipping screens, as well as the Mobis shipping system (Communication with HMGMA CCR : 24Hr)
  • Managing Mobis production order (Non JIS order)
  • Gather HMGMA daily, weekly, and monthly plan; generate and send Mobis’ daily production and shipping plans to appropriate departments
  • Monitor daily production in real time to ensure that targets are met (plan & Actual)
  • Track external and internal downtime requests and provide countermeasures to prevent future downtime
  • Issue claims for vendor downtime and complete accounting documents to ensure payments are debited
  • Operate Mobis monitoring room & tracking productivity issue and report
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

(The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)

 

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry-specific experience required.
  • One (1) to Three (3) years of experience in the Just in Sequence production control field in the Automotive industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial system engineering or mechanical engineering.
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years of supervisory or leadership experience

  Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • SAP desired (PP/MM)

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

  • None required.

Working Conditions

  • Position hours: 6:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
  • Overtime as needed.
  • Traversing around the production floor
  • Occasional travel as needed.
