Overview

The Process Control Specialist is responsible for monitoring the production shipping status and managing plan & Actual, Down time (HMGMA / MAL-SV).

Responsibilities

(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)

[Process Control]

 

  • Constantly monitor HMGMA and Mobis productivity and shipping screens, as well as the Mobis shipping system (Communication with HMGMA CCR: 24Hr)
  • Managing Mobis production order (Non JIS order)
  • Gather HMGMA daily, weekly, and monthly plan; generate and send Mobis’ daily production and shipping plans to appropriate departments.
  • Monitor daily production in real time to ensure that targets are met (Plan & Actual)
  • Track external and internal downtime requests and provide countermeasures to prevent future downtime.
  • Issue claims for vendor downtime and complete accounting documents to ensure payments are debited.
  • Operate Mobis monitoring room & tracking productivity issue and report.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical skill

 

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • 0 to 3 years of experience in Just In Sequence in Automotive industry preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial system engineering or mechanical engineering/Logistics/Supply Chain
  • Experienced in automotive industry - Plant start-up desired.
